Dinner was good. 15 or so of us went to La Perle, a Szceheuan and Thai restaurant and ate family style. It was good, but nothing really special.
The Holiday Inn Pointe-Claire is much better than my first hotel. The building is pretty old, so it has a sort of character when you look at it, but the architecture isn't fancy. My room is gigantic but I must just have bad look with air conditioners...this one doesn't even have a panel to open to adjust knobs.
Hopefully the event goes smoothly tomorrow and I get some time to sight see.
