Day 8

This morning we went to the cemetery to put Memere's and Pepere's urns in the column...and they didn't fit!!! It was funny and embarrassing but the family had a good laugh as we went to the funeral director, explained what happened, and ordered new urns that would fit to exchange.

The rest of the day is shaping up to be lazy. Mom, dad, and Emily have an appointment with a realtor to look at a house built in 1813, then we are headed out for a lobster dinner somewhere.

Tomorrow I leave for Boston to celebrate New Year's and a few days with Blake, KT, Paul, and whoever else shows up. Looking forward to a good time!

Quick edit for dinner: The lobster was excellent but service in the north is absolutely terrible. The whole ordeal took 2 and half hours, and my water was only refilled twice...and only because I was barely able to flag down the waitress!
